How to say your phone number in a radio spot
Listeners cannot rewind a radio spot, so your number has to be easy to catch the first time.
Say it slowly and in groups
A phone number is easiest to follow in three groups: the area code, the next three digits, then the last four. Each group gets a small pause.
Say it twice
Say it once near the end, and again as the very last words. Longer spots have room for both.
Keep your website simple
A short web address that sounds the way it is spelled is far easier to remember than a long one. If your address has dashes or numbers, a phone number may work better.
